My dive into photography has been fairly recent. After having three children I started to realize what made better snapshots of my kids and started putting those things into practice while having my fourth and fifth child. The more time I spent taking pictures the more I grew to love it. I began to challenge myself to be more creative in the type of pictures I took of my children. With a lot of encouragement from friends and family I decided that I wanted to learn more, so I took a distance learning course from the New York Institute of Photography. I wanted a bit more hands on with an instructor, so I signed up for classes locally with a local photographer. I enjoyed learning more and more and putting what I learned into practice. I love the way a photograph can transport you back to a different time and place and invoke in you all the emotions you once felt. As a parent I want to capture those little expressions and quirks of each of my children that I love and treasure so much, and as a photographer I will do my best to do the same for you.
