Q: Where will the photograph session take place?
A: 99% of my sessions take place on location. Meaning virtually anywhere a photograph can be taken is where I will hold a sitting. Many folks enjoy having their pictures by lakes, railroad tracks, brick walls, fields, gardens, with their pets, with their instruments, cars or simply with an items that interest them. These are all great ways to express your personality. I can shoot ¾ length and headshots in your home, your office, or a location you are most confortable with.
Q: Who do I bring?
A: With High School Seniors, many come alone or you are welcome to bring a parent or one other individual. Too many people can distract from the goal of capturing the best image possible. It is important that the concentration be on your sitting.
Q: What do I bring?
A: I encourage you to make a statement! Bring a prop that is meaningful to you. Maybe you are an artist, a musician, a collector, a sports fan, a cheerleader or perhaps a pet lover? Bring someone along to help pet-sit while I focus on you and your other compositions. Bring anything that is meaningful to you!
Q: What do I wear?
A: Have fun, go shopping! You should pick outfits that showcase who you are. There are some basic guidelines if you decide on doing a “Studio Look,” but on location shoots allow for some great creativity.
Q: How early should I arrive?
A: You should arrive 10 minutes early to getting settled for the session. If you are late, it could cause a portion of your session to be rescheduled for another time. Hair and makeup should be done prior to arriving. There will be time for touch-ups, but not a make over.
Q: Can you touch-up blemishes?
A: No worries, I will remove those blemishes for your final images so that you look unbelievable! We want you to feel and look your best without complexion concerns. There isn’t much we can’t do!
Q: What about rain?
A: If your are opting for a package that includes indoor and outdoor locations, we will shoot everything possible indoors and reschedule your outdoor session on another day. There are many places and options for indoor photography.
Q: I have ideas of my own.
A: I encourage all your ideas. It is important to make your session personal to you and bring out what is unique about you. The more ideas the better, after all the session is all about YOU!
Q: I have other questions, how can I get in contact with someone?
A: There are several ways to get in contact with me:
